No fake lab claims: PrintRig has not physically tested every machine. We compare published system requirements and business economics; request a live sample workflow and written support terms.
Ask for the flow diagram
Determine whether the system circulates the tank, line, damper path or another portion of the ink system. A product page that merely says “white-ink circulation” does not describe how much of the risk is managed.
Circulation does not remove maintenance
No circulation claim eliminates nozzle checks, scheduled cleaning, controlled environment, correct shutdown/standby procedure or consumable replacement.
- Daily startup and shutdown steps
- Maximum unattended/idle interval
- Agitation/circulation timing while idle
- Approved ink and cleaning fluids
- Clog-support and printhead-warranty exclusions
Price downtime
Use a failed-production allowance in the calculator. Maintenance time and reprints belong in cost per saleable transfer even when ink use looks low.
Run the economics
Use the cost-per-print calculator, then the break-even model.
