METHOD / ACCOUNTABILITY
Published evidence, explicit assumptions.
NAMED EDITOR
Truong Nguyen
Truong Nguyen is the named editor responsible for source checks, calculator assumptions, affiliate-status labels and corrections on PrintRig. This is an editorial role statement only: it does not claim professional printer-repair certification, manufacturer affiliation or hands-on testing that did not occur.
What we compare
We compare exact printable area, documented white-ink management, RIP requirements, powder and curing chain, maintenance duties, warranty exclusions, parts and service path, and business economics. Exact-machine statements should link to a manufacturer product page, manual, warranty or official support document with a checked date.
What we do not claim
We do not imply hands-on tests that did not happen or guarantee output, profit, printhead life, unattended reliability, support response or warranty approval. Manufacturer performance claims stay labeled as manufacturer claims. Calculator defaults are illustrative planning inputs, not vendor quotes.
How a high-cost recommendation is gated
A machine is not treated as a complete system until the printer, RIP, powder handling, cure, heat press, ventilation, electrical requirements, delivered consumables, operator labor and service path are accounted for. Readers are asked to obtain a dated written quote and run base, downside and stress cases.
Affiliate independence
Commission availability does not determine conclusions. A merchant CTA is activated only after approval and a production tracking URL are verified. Until then, the page may show an application-pending notice and a separately labeled Amazon fallback. Manufacturer citations are not presented as affiliate buttons.
CORRECTION POLICY
Correct the decision field, not just the typo.
When a factual error or stale source is identified, PrintRig checks the current primary document, updates the affected specification and its checked date, and reevaluates any conclusion that depended on it. Material changes to price basis, warranty coverage, software support, service availability or affiliate status are disclosed on the affected page rather than silently converted into a recommendation.
- Broken citations are replaced with the closest current manufacturer or official support source.
- Conflicting documents are described as a conflict; the more favorable claim is not assumed.
- Unknown part prices, exclusions and service times remain “confirm in writing.”
- Affiliate status changes are kept separate from the product assessment.
